Darien is currently working on Bars and Benches, a feature film directed by Santiago Laurrari. Darien has previously worked with Santiago Laurrari on two short films, Moving On and Cracked. Her last film project (still in post-production) was playing Lauren in Double Entry, a mini web series by Foundation Film and Media. Onstage, she playing Dawn in April 2025, a lead in Every Piece of Me, produced by Candlewick Players, which she wrote in 2023.

Darien has trained under Paul Andrich (Audition Technique Manitoba), Onalee Ames (Onalee Ames Film Studio), and Steven Bernstein (director/cinematographer) in partnership with Onalee Ames Studio, as well as Dan de Jaeger (The Abby Winnipeg), John B. Lowe (Broccolo Creative), and Darcy Fehr (The Acting Studio Winnipeg).

Darien is currently cast as Lucy, a principal role in Bars and Benches, directed by Santiago Laurrari. She is also pursuing the publication of her play, Every Piece of Me, and is writing her second play, The Will of a Hoarder. She looks forward to one day being cast in a fantasy television series.
