About

Darien’s dream role is Jude Duarte, from the book series A Cruel Prince.

Darien’s last two projects, the short film Quota, in which she played Anne, a supporting role, and The Distance Between Bars and Benches, a local feature film directed by Santiago Larrauri in which she played Lucy, another supporting role, are both currently in post-production. Darien has previously worked with Santiago Larrauri on two short films, Moving On and Cracked. Her last project was playing the lead in Double Entry (2025), a mini web series by Foundation Film and Media. Onstage, she played Dawn in April 2025, a lead in Every Piece of Me, produced by Candlewick Players and written by Darien herself.

Most notably, Darien has trained with Steven Bernstein, ASC, DGA, WGA, in partnership with Onalee Ames Studio. Lately, Darien has trained with Steven Sim (The Improv Company), as well as with Paul Andrich (Audition Technique Manitoba), Dan de Jaeger (The Abby Winnipeg), John B. Lowe (Broccolo Creative), and Darcy Fehr (The Acting Studio Winnipeg).

She is also pursuing the publication of her play, Every Piece of Me, and is writing her second play, The Will of a Hoarder. She looks forward to one day being cast in a fantasy television series.

In her free time, Darien enjoys hosting friends for dinner parties, game nights, and craft sessions at her and her husband’s heritage home fixer-upper. Her hobbies include sewing clothing, writing stories, and working closely with the local community theatre.
